創世記 Genesis 1:1-2:25
1:1
起初神創造諸天與地，
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
1:2
而地變為荒廢空虛，淵面黑暗。神的靈覆罩在水面上。
But the earth became waste and emptiness, and darkness was on the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was brooding upon the surface of the waters.
1:3
神說，要有光，就有了光。
And God said, Let there be light; and there was light.
1:4
神看光是好的，就把光暗分開了。
And God saw that the light was good, and God separated the light from the darkness.
1:5
神稱光為晝，稱暗為夜；有晚上，有早晨，這是第一日。
And God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day.
1:6
神說，諸水之間要有廣闊的空間，將水與水分開。
And God said, Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.
1:7
神就造出天空，將天空以下的水，與天空以上的水分開；事就這樣成了。
And God made the expanse and separated the waters which were under the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse, and it was so.
1:8
神稱天空為天；有晚上，有早晨，是第二日。
And God called the expanse Heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, a second day.
1:9
神說，天以下的水要聚在一處，使旱地露出來；事就這樣成了。
And God said, Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear; and it was so.
1:10
神稱旱地為地，稱水的聚處為海；神看是好的。
And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas; and God saw that it was good.
1:11
神說，地要長出青草，和結種子的菜蔬，並結果子的樹木，各從其類，果子都包著核；事就這樣成了。
And God said, Let the earth sprout grass, herbs yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit according to their kind with their seed in them upon the earth; and it was so.
1:12
於是地生出青草，和結種子的菜蔬，各從其類，並結果子的樹木，各從其類，果子都包著核；神看是好的。
And the earth brought forth grass, herbs yielding seed according to their kind, and trees bearing fruit with their seed in them according to their kind; and God saw that it was good.
1:13
有晚上，有早晨，是第三日。
And there was evening and there was morning, a third day.
1:14
神說，天上穹蒼之中要有光體，可以分晝夜，作記號，定節令、日子、年歲；
And God said, Let there be light-bearers in the expanse of heaven to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years;
1:15
並要發光在天上穹蒼之中，普照在地上；事就這樣成了。
And let them be light-bearers in the expanse of heaven to give light on the earth; and it was so.
1:16
於是神造了兩個大的光體，大的管晝，小的管夜；又造眾星。
And God made the two great light-bearers, the greater light-bearer to rule the day and the lesser light-bearer to rule the night, and the stars.
1:17
就把這些光體擺設在天上穹蒼之中，普照在地上，
And God set them in the expanse of heaven to give light on the earth
1:18
管理晝夜，分別光暗；神看是好的。
And to rule over the day and over the night and to separate the light from the darkness, and God saw that it was good.
1:19
有晚上，有早晨，是第四日。
And there was evening and there was morning, a fourth day.
1:20
神說，水要多多滋生有生命的物；要有禽鳥飛在地面以上，天空之中。
And God said, Let the waters swarm with swarms of living animals, and let birds fly above the earth in the open expanse of heaven.
1:21
神就創造大魚，和水中所滋生各樣有生命的動物，各從其類；又創造各樣飛鳥，各從其類；神看是好的。
And God created the great sea creatures and every living animal that moves, with which the waters swarmed, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind; and God saw that it was good.
1:22
神就賜福給這一切，說，要繁衍增多，充滿海中的水；禽鳥也要增多在地上。
And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let the birds multiply on the earth.
1:23
有晚上，有早晨，是第五日。
And there was evening and there was morning, a fifth day.
1:24
神說，地要生出有生命的物，各從其類；牲畜、爬物、走獸，各從其類；事就這樣成了。
And God said, Let the earth bring forth living animals according to their kind, cattle and creeping things and animals of the earth according to their kind; and it was so.
1:25
於是神造出走獸，各從其類；牲畜各從其類；地上一切爬物，各從其類；神看是好的。
And God made the animals of the earth according to their kind and the cattle according to their kind and everything that creeps on the ground according to its kind, and God saw that it was good.
1:26
神說，我們要按著我們的形像，照著我們的樣式造人，使他們管理海裏的魚、空中的鳥、地上的牲畜、和全地、並地上所爬的一切爬物。
And God said, Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of heaven and over the cattle and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.
1:27
神就按著自己的形像創造人，乃是按著神的形像創造他；創造他們有男有女。
And God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
1:28
神就賜福給他們；又對他們說，要繁衍增多，遍滿地面，並制伏這地，也要管理海裏的魚、空中的鳥、和地上各樣行動的活物。
And God blessed them; and God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of heaven and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.
1:29
神說，看哪，我將遍地上各樣結種子的菜蔬，和各樣結有核果子的樹，賜給你們作食物。
And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be for you as food.
1:30
至於地上各樣的走獸和空中各樣的飛鳥，並各樣爬在地上有生命的物，我將青草賜給牠們作食物；事就這樣成了。
And to every animal of the earth and to every bird of heaven and to everything that creeps upon the earth, in which is a living soul, I have given every green herb for food; and it was so.
1:31
神看一切所造的都甚好；有晚上，有早晨，是第六日。
And God saw everything that He had made, and indeed, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.
2:1
天地萬物都造齊了。
Thus the heavens and the earth and all their host were finished.
2:2
到第七日，神造作的工已經完畢，就在第七日歇了祂一切造作的工，安息了。
And on the seventh day God finished His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.
2:3
神賜福給第七日，將其分別為聖，因為在這日神歇了祂一切創造和造作的工，就安息了。
And God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.
2:4
諸天與地創造的來歷，乃是這樣。在耶和華神造地造天的日子，
These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created. When Jehovah God made earth and heaven,
2:5
地上還沒有草木，田間的菜蔬還沒有長起來，因為耶和華神還沒有降雨在地上，也沒有人耕地。
And no plant of the field was yet in the earth, and no herb of the field had yet sprung up-for Jehovah God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to work the ground,
2:6
只有霧氣從地上騰，滋潤遍地。
But a mist went up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground -
2:7
耶和華神用地上的塵土塑造人，將生命之氣吹在他鼻孔裏，人就成了活的魂。
Jehovah God formed man with the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul.
2:8
耶和華神在東方的伊甸栽植了一個園子，把所塑造的人安放在那裏。
And Jehovah God planted a garden in Eden, in the east; and there He put the man whom He had formed.
2:9
耶和華神使各樣的樹從地裏長出來，可以悅人的眼目，也好作食物；園子當中有生命樹，還有善惡知識樹。
And out of the ground Jehovah God caused to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food, as well as the tree of life in the middle of the garden and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
2:10
有一道河從伊甸流出來滋潤那園子，從那裏分為四道。
And a river went forth from Eden to water the garden, and from there it divided and became four branches.
2:11
第一道名叫比遜，就是環繞哈腓拉全地的，在那裏有金子。
The name of the first is Pishon; it is the one that goes around the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold.
2:12
並且那地的金子是好的；在那裏又有珍珠和紅瑪瑙。
And the gold of that land is good; bdellium and onyx stone are there.
2:13
第二道河名叫基訓，就是環繞古實全地的。
And the name of the second river is Gihon; it is the one that goes around the whole land of Cush.
2:14
第三道河名叫希底結，流在亞述的東邊。第四道河就是伯拉河。
And the name of the third river is Hiddekel; it is the one that goes east of Assyria. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.
2:15
耶和華神將那人安置在伊甸園，使他耕種看守。
And Jehovah God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and to keep it.
2:16
耶和華神吩咐那人說，園中各樣樹上的果子，你可以隨意喫，
And Jehovah God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden you may eat freely,
2:17
只是善惡知識樹上的果子，你不可喫，因為你喫的日子必定死。
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, of it you shall not eat; for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.
2:18
耶和華神說，那人獨居不好，我要為他造一個幫助者作他的配偶。
And Jehovah God said, It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper as his counterpart.
2:19
耶和華神把祂用土所造的野地各樣走獸，和空中各樣飛鳥，都帶到那人面前，看他叫甚麼；那人怎樣叫各樣的活物，那就是牠的名。
And Jehovah God formed from the ground every animal of the field and every bird of heaven, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them; and whatever the man called any living animal, that was its name.
2:20
那人便給一切的牲畜、空中的飛鳥、和野地各樣的走獸都起了名，只是亞當沒有找到一個幫助者作他的配偶。
And the man gave names to all cattle and to the birds of heaven and to every animal of the field, but for Adam there was not found a helper as his counterpart.
2:21
耶和華神使那人沉睡，他就睡了，於是取了他的一條肋骨，又把肉在原處合起來。
And Jehovah God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh in its place.
2:22
耶和華神就用那人身上所取的肋骨，建造成一個女人，領她到那人跟前。
And Jehovah God built the rib, which He had taken from the man, into a woman and brought her to the man.
2:23
那人說，這一次這是我骨中的骨，肉中的肉，可以稱這為女人，因為這是從男人身上取出來的。
And the man said, This time this is bone of my bones And flesh of my flesh; This one shall be called Woman Because out of Man this one was taken.
2:24
因此，人要離開父母，與妻子聯合，二人成為一體。
Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and shall cleave to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
2:25
當時那人和他妻子，二人赤身露體，彼此並不覺得羞恥。
And both the man and his wife were naked and were not ashamed before each other.

馬太福音 Matthew 1:1-1:25
1:1
耶穌基督，大衛的子孫，亞伯拉罕子孫的家譜：
The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham:
1:2
亞伯拉罕生以撒，以撒生雅各，雅各生猶大和他的弟兄們，
Abraham begot Isaac, and Isaac begot Jacob, and Jacob begot Judah and his brothers,
1:3
猶大從他瑪氏生法勒斯和謝拉，法勒斯生希斯崙，希斯崙生亞蘭，
And Judah begot Pharez and Zarah of Tamar, and Pharez begot Hezron, and Hezron begot Aram,
1:4
亞蘭生亞米拿達，亞米拿達生拿順，拿順生撒門，
And Aram begot Aminadab, and Aminadab begot Nahshon, and Nahshon begot Salmon,
1:5
撒門從喇合氏生波阿斯，波阿斯從路得氏生俄備得，俄備得生耶西，
And Salmon begot Boaz of Rahab, and Boaz begot Obed of Ruth, and Obed begot Jesse,
1:6
耶西生大衛王。大衛從作過烏利亞妻子的生所羅門，
And Jesse begot David the king. And David begot Solomon of her who had been the wife of Uriah,
1:7
所羅門生羅波安，羅波安生亞比雅，亞比雅生亞撒，
And Solomon begot Rehoboam, and Rehoboam begot Abijah, and Abijah begot Asa,
1:8
亞撒生約沙法，約沙法生約蘭，約蘭生烏西亞，
And Asa begot Jehoshaphat, and Jehoshaphat begot Joram, and Joram begot Uzziah,
1:9
烏西亞生約坦，約坦生亞哈斯，亞哈斯生希西家，
And Uzziah begot Jotham, and Jotham begot Ahaz, and Ahaz begot Hezekiah,
1:10
希西家生瑪拿西，瑪拿西生亞們，亞們生約西亞。
And Hezekiah begot Manasseh, and Manasseh begot Amon, and Amon begot Josiah.
1:11
在遷徙巴比倫的時候，約西亞生耶哥尼雅和他的弟兄們。
And Josiah begot Jeconiah and his brothers at the time of the deportation to Babylon.
1:12
遷徙到巴比倫以後，耶哥尼雅生撒拉鐵，撒拉鐵生所羅巴伯，
And after the deportation to Babylon, Jeconiah begot Salathiel, and Salathiel begot Zerubbabel,
1:13
所羅巴伯生亞比玉，亞比玉生以利亞敬，以利亞敬生亞所，
And Zerubbabel begot Abiud, and Abiud begot Eliakim, and Eliakim begot Azor,
1:14
亞所生撒督，撒督生亞金，亞金生以律，
And Azor begot Zadok, and Zadok begot Achim, and Achim begot Eliud,
1:15
以律生以利亞撒，以利亞撒生馬但，馬但生雅各，
And Eliud begot Eleazar, and Eleazar begot Matthan, and Matthan begot Jacob,
1:16
雅各生約瑟，就是馬利亞的丈夫，那稱為基督的耶穌，是從馬利亞生的。
And Jacob begot Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.
1:17
這樣，從亞伯拉罕到大衛，共十四代；從大衛到遷徙巴比倫，也是十四代；從遷徙巴比倫到基督，又是十四代。
Thus all the generations from Abraham until David are fourteen generations, and from David until the deportation to Babylon, fourteen generations, and from the deportation to Babylon until the Christ, fourteen generations.
1:18
耶穌基督的由來，乃是這樣：祂母親馬利亞已經許配了約瑟，他們還沒有同居，馬利亞就被看出懷了孕，就是她從聖靈所懷的。
Now the origin of Jesus Christ was in this way: His mother, Mary, after she had been engaged to Joseph, before they came together, was found to be with child of the Holy Spirit.
1:19
她丈夫約瑟是個義人，不願明明的羞辱她，想要暗暗的把她退了。
And Joseph her husband, being righteous and not willing to disgrace her openly, intended to send her away secretly.
1:20
正思念這事的時候，看哪，有主的使者向他夢中顯現，說，大衛的子孫約瑟，不要怕，只管娶過你的妻子馬利亞來，因那生在她裏面的，乃是出於聖靈。
But while he pondered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary your wife, for that which has been begotten in her is of the Holy Spirit.
1:21
她將要生一個兒子，你要給祂起名叫耶穌，因祂要親自將祂的百姓從他們的罪裏救出來。
And she will bear a son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for it is He who will save His people from their sins.
1:22
這一切成就了，為要應驗主藉著申言者所說的，說，
Now all this has happened so that what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet might be fulfilled, saying,
1:23
“看哪，必有童女懷孕生子，人要稱祂的名為以馬內利。”（以馬內利繙出來，就是神與我們同在。）
"Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel'' (which is translated, God with us).
1:24
約瑟從睡中醒來，就遵著主使者的吩咐，把他的妻子娶過來，
And when Joseph awoke from his sleep, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to himself his wife.
1:25
只是沒有和她同房，等她生了兒子，就給祂起名叫耶穌。
And he did not know her until she bore a son. And he called His name Jesus.
