創世記 Genesis 6:1-8:22
6:1
當人在地上多起來，又生女兒的時候，
And when men began to multiply on the surface of the ground, and daughters were born to them,
6:2
神的兒子們看見人的女子美貌，就隨意挑選，娶來為妻。
The sons of God saw that the daughters of men were fair; and they took wives for themselves from all whom they chose.
6:3
耶和華說，人既是肉體，我的靈就不永遠與他相爭；然而他的日子還有一百二十年。
And Jehovah said, My Spirit will not strive with man forever, for he indeed is flesh; so his days will be one hundred twenty years.
6:4
神的兒子們和人的女子交合生子，從那時起地上就有了拿非利人；他們就是上古英武有名的人。
The Nephilim were on the earth in those days-and also afterward-when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they gave birth to children to them; these were the mighty men who were of old the men of renown.
6:5
耶和華見人在地上罪惡甚大，心中終日所思念的盡都是惡；
And Jehovah saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
6:6
耶和華就後悔造人在地上，心中憂傷。
And Jehovah repented that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him in His heart.
6:7
耶和華說，我要將所創造的人，連人帶走獸、爬物、以及空中的飛鳥，都從地上除滅，因為我後悔造了他們。
And Jehovah said, I will blot out the man whom I have created from the surface of the ground, from man to beast to creeping things to the birds of heaven; for I repent that I have made them.
6:8
但挪亞在耶和華眼前蒙恩。
But Noah found favor in the sight of Jehovah.
6:9
挪亞的後代記在下面。挪亞是個義人，在當時的世代是個完全人；挪亞與神同行。
These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his generations; and Noah walked with God.
6:10
挪亞生了三個兒子，就是閃、含、雅弗。
And Noah begot three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
6:11
全地在神面前敗壞，地上滿了強暴。
And the earth was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
6:12
神觀看全地，見是敗壞了；凡屬肉體的人，在地上的行徑都敗壞了。
And God looked on the earth, and behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted its way upon the earth.
6:13
神就對挪亞說，凡屬肉體之人的結局，已經來到我面前；因為地上滿了他們的強暴，我要把他們和地一併毀滅。
And God said to Noah, The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence because of them; and now I am about to destroy them with the earth.
6:14
你要用歌斐木造一隻方舟，裏面要有隔間，方舟內外要塗上松香。
Make yourself an ark of gopher wood; you shall make rooms in the ark and shall cover it within and without with pitch.
6:15
方舟的造法乃是這樣：要長三百肘，寬五十肘，高三十肘。
And this is how you shall make it: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits.
6:16
方舟頂上要造一個透光處，高一肘；方舟的門要開在旁邊；方舟要分上、中、下三層。
You shall make an opening for light for the ark, and you shall finish it up to a cubit from the top; and you shall put the entrance of the ark in its side; you shall make it with lower, second, and third stories.
6:17
看哪，我要使洪水氾濫在地上，毀滅天下一切有血肉、有氣息的；凡在地上的無一不死。
And now I am about to bring a flood of water upon the earth to destroy from under heaven all flesh in which is the breath of life; everything that is on the earth shall die.
6:18
我卻要與你立約；你同你的兒子、妻子與兒媳，都要進入方舟。
But I will establish My covenant with you, and you shall come into the ark, you and your sons and your wife and your sons' wives with you.
6:19
凡有血肉的活物，每樣兩個，有公有母，你要帶進方舟，好與你一同保全生命。
And of every living thing, of all flesh, two of every kind you shall bring into the ark to preserve them alive with you; they shall be male and female.
6:20
飛鳥各從其類，牲畜各從其類，地上的爬物各從其類，每樣兩個，要到你那裏，好保全生命。
Of the birds according to their kind and of the cattle according to their kind, of every creeping thing of the ground according to its kind, two of every kind will come to you in order to preserve them alive.
6:21
至於你，要拿各樣可喫的食物，積聚起來，好作你和牠們的食物。
And for your part, take some of every kind of food that is edible, and gather it to yourself, and it will be for food for you and for them.
6:22
挪亞就這樣行；凡神所吩咐的，他都照樣行了。
And Noah did this; according to all that God commanded him, so he did.
7:1
耶和華對挪亞說，你和你全家都要進入方舟；因為在這世代中，我見只有你在我面前是義的。
Then Jehovah said to Noah, Come into the ark, you and all your household, for you alone I have seen to be righteous before Me in this generation.
7:2
凡潔淨的畜類，你要帶七對公母；不潔淨的畜類，你要帶一對公母；
Of every clean animal you shall take with you seven pairs, a male and its female; and of the animals that are not clean two, a male and its female;
7:3
空中的飛鳥，也要帶七對公母；可以留種，活在全地上，
Also of the birds of heaven, seven pairs, male and female; to preserve their offspring alive on the surface of all the earth.
7:4
因為再過七天，我要降雨在地上四十晝四十夜，把我所造的各種活物都從地上除滅。
For in seven more days I will cause it to rain on the earth forty days and forty nights, and every living being that I have made I will blot out from the surface of the ground.
7:5
挪亞就遵著耶和華所吩咐的一切行了。
And Noah did according to all that Jehovah commanded him.
7:6
當洪水氾濫在地上的時候，挪亞正六百歲。
And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters came upon the earth.
7:7
挪亞就同他的兒子、妻子和兒媳，都進入方舟，躲避洪水。
And Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons' wives with him went into the ark because of the waters of the flood.
7:8
潔淨的畜類和不潔淨的畜類，飛鳥並地上一切的爬物，
Of clean animals and of animals that are not clean and of birds and of everything that creeps upon the ground,
7:9
都是一對一對的，有公有母，到挪亞那裏進入方舟，正如神所吩咐挪亞的。
Two by two they came into the ark to Noah, male and female, as God had commanded Noah.
7:10
過了那七天，洪水氾濫在地上。
And after the seven days the waters of the flood came upon the earth.
7:11
當挪亞六百歲，二月十七日那一天，大淵的一切泉源都裂開了，天上的窗戶也敞開了，
In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on that very day all the springs of the great deep burst open, and the windows of heaven were opened.
7:12
四十晝四十夜降雨在地上。
And the rain fell upon the earth forty days and forty nights.
7:13
正當那日，挪亞和他三個兒子閃、含、雅弗，並挪亞的妻子和三個兒媳，都進入方舟。
On that very same day Noah and Shem and Ham and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife and the three wives of his sons with them entered the ark,
7:14
他們一家，和一切走獸，各從其類，一切牲畜，各從其類，一切爬在地上的爬物，各從其類，一切禽鳥，各從其類，都進入方舟。
They and every animal according to its kind and all the cattle according to their kind and every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth according to its kind and every bird according to its kind-every bird, every winged creature.
7:15
凡有血肉、有生命氣息的，都一對一對的到挪亞那裏，進入方舟。
And they went into the ark to Noah, two by two of all flesh in which was the breath of life.
7:16
凡有血肉進入方舟的，都是有公有母，正如神所吩咐挪亞的；耶和華就把他關在方舟裏頭。
And those who went in, male and female of all flesh, went in as God had commanded him; and Jehovah shut the door behind him.
7:17
洪水氾濫在地上四十天，水往上漲，把方舟浮起，方舟就離地升高。
And the flood was on the earth forty days; and the waters increased and lifted up the ark, and it rose high above the earth.
7:18
水勢浩大，在地上大大上漲，方舟在水面上漂來漂去。
And the waters prevailed and increased greatly upon the earth, and the ark went about on the surface of the waters.
7:19
水勢在地上極其浩大，普天下一切高山都淹沒了。
And when the waters had prevailed exceedingly upon the earth, all the high mountains that were under the entire heaven were covered.
7:20
水勢浩大，比山高過十五肘，山嶺都淹沒了。
The waters prevailed fifteen cubits higher once the mountains were covered.
7:21
凡在地上有血肉的動物，就是飛鳥、牲畜、走獸，和爬在地上的爬物，以及所有的人，都死了。
And all flesh that moved upon the earth expired: birds and cattle and animals and every swarming thing that swarms upon the earth and all mankind.
7:22
凡在旱地上，鼻孔有生命氣息的，都死了。
Everything in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, of all that was on the dry land, died.
7:23
這樣，神把地上一切的活物，連人帶走獸、爬物、以及空中的飛鳥，都除滅了。這些都從地上除滅了，只留下挪亞和那些與他同在方舟裏的。
Thus He blotted out every living being that was upon the surface of the ground, from man to beast to creeping things to the birds of heaven. And they were blotted out from the earth, and only Noah was left, and those who were with him in the ark.
7:24
水勢浩大，在地上共一百五十天。
And the waters prevailed upon the earth one hundred fifty days.
8:1
神記念挪亞和方舟裏同挪亞一起的一切走獸牲畜；神叫風吹地，水就漸落。
And God remembered Noah and all the animals and all the cattle that were with him in the ark; and God made a wind pass over the earth, and the waters subsided.
8:2
深淵的泉源和天上的窗戶都閉塞了，天上的雨也止住了。
The springs of the deep and the windows of heaven were also stopped, and the rain from the heavens was restrained;
8:3
水從地上漸退。過了一百五十天，水就漸消。
And the waters receded steadily from upon the earth. So at the end of one hundred fifty days the waters began to diminish.
8:4
七月十七日，方舟停在阿拉臘山上。
And the ark came to rest in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.
8:5
水又漸消，到十月初一日，山頂都現出來了。
And the waters diminished steadily until the tenth month. In the tenth month, on the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains were seen.
8:6
過了四十天，挪亞開了他所造方舟的窗戶，
And at the end of forty days Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made.
8:7
放出一隻烏鴉；那烏鴉飛來飛去，直到地上的水都乾了。
And he sent out the raven; and it went out, going to and fro until the waters had dried up from the earth.
8:8
他又放出一隻鴿子，要看看水從地上退了沒有。
And he sent out the dove from him to see if the waters had abated from the surface of the ground.
8:9
但遍地上都是水，鴿子找不著落腳之地，就回到方舟挪亞那裏，挪亞伸手把鴿子接進方舟。
But the dove found no resting place for the sole of her foot, so she returned to him to the ark; for the waters were on the surface of the whole earth. And he put out his hand and took her and brought her to himself into the ark.
8:10
他又等了七天，再把鴿子從方舟放出去。
And he waited yet another seven days, and again he sent out the dove from the ark.
8:11
到了晚上，鴿子回到他那裏，嘴裏叼著一片新擰下來的橄欖葉子，挪亞就知道地上的水退了。
And the dove came to him toward evening time, and there in her beak was a freshly plucked olive leaf. So Noah knew that the waters had abated from the earth.
8:12
他又等了七天，再放出鴿子，鴿子就不再回來了。
And he waited yet another seven days and sent out the dove, and she did not return to him again.
8:13
到挪亞六百零一歲，正月初一日，地上的水都乾了。挪亞撤去方舟的蓋觀看，便見地面上乾了。
And in the six hundred first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the water was dried up from the earth; and Noah removed the covering of the ark and saw that now the surface of the ground was dry.
8:14
到了二月二十七日，地就都乾了。
And in the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dry.
8:15
神對挪亞說，
And God spoke to Noah, saying,
8:16
你和你的妻子、兒子、兒媳都可以出方舟。
Go forth from the ark, you and your wife and your sons and your sons' wives with you;
8:17
在你那裏凡有血肉的活物，就是飛鳥、牲畜、和一切爬在地上的爬物，都要帶出來，叫牠們在地上孳生，繁衍增多。
Bring out with you every living thing that is with you of all flesh-birds and cattle and every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth-that they may swarm on the earth and be fruitful and multiply upon the earth.
8:18
於是挪亞和他的兒子、妻子、兒媳都出來了。
So Noah went forth, as well as his sons and his wife and his sons' wives with him.
8:19
一切走獸、爬物、飛鳥、和地上所有的動物，各從其類，也都出了方舟。
Every animal, every creeping thing, and every bird, everything that moves upon the earth, went forth from the ark according to their families.
8:20
挪亞為耶和華築了一座壇，拿各類潔淨的牲畜、飛鳥，獻在壇上為燔祭。
And Noah built an altar to Jehovah and took of every clean beast and of every clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
8:21
耶和華聞了那怡爽的香氣，就心裏說，我不再因人的緣故咒詛地，(人從小時心裏懷著惡念，)也不再按著我才行的，滅各種的活物了。
And Jehovah smelled the satisfying fragrance; and Jehovah said in His heart, I will never again curse the ground on account of man, for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; nor will I ever again smite everything living as I have done.
8:22
地還存留的時候，稼穡、寒暑、冬夏、晝夜，就永不停息了。
Throughout all the days that earth remains, Seed time and harvest, and cold and heat, And summer and winter, and day and night Shall not cease.

馬太福音 Matthew 3:1-17
3:1
那時，施浸者約翰出來，在猶太的曠野傳道說，
Now in those days John the Baptist appeared, preaching in the wilderness of Judea
3:2
你們要悔改，因為諸天的國已經臨近了。
And saying, Repent, for the kingdom of the heavens has drawn near.
3:3
這人就是那藉著申言者以賽亞所說的，說，“在曠野有人聲喊著：豫備主的道路，修直祂的途徑。”
For this is he who was spoken of through Isaiah the prophet, saying, "A voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare the way of the Lord; make straight His paths.''
3:4
約翰身穿駱駝毛的衣服，腰束皮帶，喫的是蝗蟲野蜜。
Now this John had his garment of camel's hair and a leather girdle around his loins, and his food was locusts and wild honey.
3:5
那時，耶路撒冷和猶太全地，並約但河四周全境的人，都絡繹的出去到約翰那裏，
At that time Jerusalem and all Judea and all the surrounding region of the Jordan went out to him,
3:6
承認著他們的罪，在約但河裏受他的浸。
And they were baptized by him in the Jordan River as they confessed their sins.
3:7
約翰看見許多法利賽人和撒都該人，來受他的浸，就對他們說，毒蛇之種，誰指示你們逃避要來的忿怒？
But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, Offspring of vipers, who prompted you to flee from the coming wrath?
3:8
你們要結出果子，與悔改相稱。
Produce then fruit worthy of your repentance.
3:9
不要自己心裏想著說，我們有亞伯拉罕作我們的祖宗。我告訴你們，神能從這些石頭中給亞伯拉罕興起子孫來。
And do not presume to say within yourselves, We have Abraham as our father; for I tell you that God is able, out of these stones, to raise up children to Abraham.
3:10
現在斧頭已經放在樹根上，凡不結好果子的樹，就砍下來，丟在火裏。
And already the axe is laid at the root of the trees. Every tree therefore that does not produce good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire.
3:11
我是將你們浸在水裏，叫你們悔改；但那在我以後來的，能力比我更大，我就是給祂提鞋也不配，祂要將你們浸在聖靈與火裏。
I baptize you in water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is stronger than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He Himself will baptize you in the Holy Spirit and fire,
3:12
祂手裏拿著揚場的簸箕，要揚淨祂的禾場，把祂的麥子收在倉裏，把糠秕用不滅的火燒盡了。
Whose winnowing fan is in His hand. And He will thoroughly cleanse His threshing floor and will gather His wheat into His barn, but the chaff He will burn up with unquenchable fire.
3:13
當下，耶穌從加利利出來，到約但河約翰那裏，要受他的浸。
Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to John to be baptized by him.
3:14
約翰想要攔住祂，說，我當受你的浸，你反到我這裏來麼？
But John tried to prevent Him, saying, It is I who have need of being baptized by You, and You come to me?
3:15
耶穌回答說，你暫且容許我吧，因為我們理當這樣盡全般的義。於是約翰容許了祂。
But Jesus answered and said to him, Permit it for now, for it is fitting for us in this way to fulfill all righteousness. Then he permitted Him.
3:16
耶穌受了浸，隨即從水裏上來，看哪，諸天向祂開了，祂就看見神的靈，仿佛鴿子降下，落在祂身上。
And having been baptized, Jesus went up immediately from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming upon Him.
3:17
看哪，又有聲音從諸天之上出來，說，這是我的愛子，我所喜悅的。
And behold, a voice out of the heavens, saying, This is My Son, the Beloved, in whom I have found My delight.
