11:10
閃的後代記在下面：洪水以後二年，閃一百歲生了亞法撒。
These are the generations of Shem. Shem was one hundred years old when he begot Arpachshad, two years after the flood.
11:11
閃生亞法撒之後，又活了五百年，並且生兒生女。
And Shem lived after he had begotten Arpachshad five hundred years, and he begot more sons and daughters.
11:12
亞法撒活到三十五歲，生了沙拉。
And Arpachshad lived thirty-five years and begot Shelah.
11:13
亞法撒生沙拉之後，又活了四百零三年，並且生兒生女。
And Arpachshad lived after he had begotten Shelah four hundred three years, and he begot more sons and daughters.
11:14
沙拉活到三十歲，生了希伯。
And Shelah lived thirty years and begot Eber.
11:15
沙拉生希伯之後，又活了四百零三年，並且生兒生女。
And Shelah lived after he had begotten Eber four hundred three years, and he begot more sons and daughters.
11:16
希伯活到三十四歲，生了法勒。
And Eber lived thirty-four years and begot Peleg.
11:17
希伯生法勒之後，又活了四百三十年，並且生兒生女。
And Eber lived after he had begotten Peleg four hundred thirty years, and he begot more sons and daughters.
11:18
法勒活到三十歲，生了拉吳。
And Peleg lived thirty years and begot Reu.
11:19
法勒生拉吳之後，又活了二百零九年，並且生兒生女。
And Peleg lived after he had begotten Reu two hundred nine years, and he begot more sons and daughters.
11:20
拉吳活到三十二歲，生了西鹿。
And Reu lived thirty-two years and begot Serug.
11:21
拉吳生西鹿之後，又活了二百零七年，並且生兒生女。
And Reu lived after he had begotten Serug two hundred seven years, and he begot more sons and daughters.
11:22
西鹿活到三十歲，生了拿鶴。
And Serug lived thirty years and begot Nahor.
11:23
西鹿生拿鶴之後，又活了二百年，並且生兒生女。
And Serug lived after he had begotten Nahor two hundred years, and he begot more sons and daughters.
11:24
拿鶴活到二十九歲，生了他拉。
And Nahor lived twenty-nine years and begot Terah.
11:25
拿鶴生他拉之後，又活了一百一十九年，並且生兒生女。
And Nahor lived after he had begotten Terah one hundred nineteen years, and he begot more sons and daughters.
11:26
他拉活到七十歲，生了亞伯蘭、拿鶴、哈蘭。
And Terah lived seventy years and begot Abram, Nahor, and Haran.
11:27
他拉的後代記在下面：他拉生亞伯蘭、拿鶴、哈蘭；哈蘭生羅得。
Now these are the generations of Terah. Terah begot Abram, Nahor, and Haran. And Haran begot Lot.
11:28
哈蘭死在他的出生地迦勒底的吾珥，在他父親他拉之先。
And Haran died before his father Terah in the land of his birth, in Ur of the Chaldeans.
11:29
亞伯蘭、拿鶴各娶了妻子：亞伯蘭的妻子名叫撒萊；拿鶴的妻子名叫密迦，是哈蘭的女兒；哈蘭是密迦和亦迦的父親。
And Abram and Nahor took wives for themselves: The name of Abram's wife was Sarai, and the name of Nahor's wife was Milcah, the daughter of Haran, the father of Milcah and the father of Iscah.
11:30
撒萊不生育，沒有孩子。
And Sarai was barren; she had no child.
11:31
他拉帶著他兒子亞伯蘭和他孫子哈蘭的兒子羅得，並他兒媳亞伯蘭的妻子撒萊，一起出了迦勒底的吾珥，要往迦南地去；他們走到哈蘭，就住在那裏。
And Terah took Abram his son and Lot the son of Haran, his son's son, and Sarai his daughter-in-law, his son Abram's wife; and they went out together from Ur of the Chaldeans to go to the land of Canaan, but when they came to Haran they settled there.
11:32
他拉共活了二百零五歲，就死在哈蘭。
And the days of Terah were two hundred five years, and Terah died in Haran.
12:1
耶和華對亞伯蘭說，你要離開本地、親族、父家，往我所要指示你的地去。
Now Jehovah said to Abram, Go from your land And from your relatives And from your father's house To the land that I will show you;
12:2
我必使你成為大國；我必賜福給你，使你的名為大；你也要使別人得福。
And I will make of you a great nation, And I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing.
12:3
那為你祝福的，我必賜福與他；那咒詛你的，我必咒詛他。地上的萬族都必因你得福。
And I will bless those who bless you, And he who curses you I will curse; And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.
12:4
亞伯蘭就照著耶和華的吩咐去了；羅得也和他同去。亞伯蘭出哈蘭的時候，年七十五歲。
So Abram went as Jehovah had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. Now Abram was seventy-five years old when he went out of Haran.
12:5
亞伯蘭將他妻子撒萊和侄兒羅得，連他們在哈蘭所積聚的家產、所得的人口，都帶出來，往迦南地去。他們就到了迦南地。
And Abram took Sarai his wife and Lot his brother's son and all their possessions that they had gathered, and the souls that they had acquired in Haran, and they went out to go to the land of Canaan. And they came to the land of Canaan.
12:6
亞伯蘭經過那地，到了示劍地方、摩利橡樹那裏。當時迦南人住在那地。
And Abram passed through the land to the place of Shechem, to the oak of Moreh. And at that time the Canaanites were in the land.
12:7
耶和華向亞伯蘭顯現，說，我要把這地賜給你的後裔。亞伯蘭就在那裏為向他顯現的耶和華築了一座壇。
And Jehovah appeared to Abram and said, To your seed I will give this land. And there he built an altar to Jehovah who had appeared to him.
12:8
從那裏他又遷到伯特利東邊的山，支搭帳棚；西邊是伯特利，東邊是艾；他在那裏又為耶和華築了一座壇，並且呼求耶和華的名。
And he proceeded from there to the mountain on the east of Bethel and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai on the east; and there he built an altar to Jehovah and called upon the name of Jehovah.
12:9
後來亞伯蘭漸漸遷往南地去。
And Abram journeyed onward, journeying toward the Negev.
12:10
那地遭遇饑荒；因饑荒甚重，亞伯蘭就下埃及去，要在那裏寄居。
And there was a famine in the land; and Abram went down to Egypt to sojourn there, for the famine was severe in the land.
12:11
他將近埃及，就對妻子撒萊說，我知道你是容貌美麗的婦人。
And when he was about to enter into Egypt, he said to Sarai his wife, I know indeed that you are a beautiful woman to look at;
12:12
埃及人看見你，必說，這是他的妻子，他們就會殺我，卻叫你活著。
And when the Egyptians see you, they will say, This is his wife, and they will kill me; but they will keep you alive.
12:13
求你說，你是我的妹妹，使我因你得善待，我的命也因你存活。
Now say you are my sister, that it may be well with me on account of you and I may live because of you.
12:14
及至亞伯蘭到了埃及，埃及人看見那婦人極其美麗。
And it came about when Abram came to Egypt, the Egyptians saw that the woman was very beautiful.
12:15
法老的大臣看見了她，就在法老面前稱讚她；那婦人就被帶進法老的宮裏去。
And Pharaoh's officials saw her and praised her before Pharaoh, and the woman was taken into Pharaoh's house.
12:16
法老因這婦人就善待亞伯蘭，亞伯蘭得了許多牛、羊、駱駝、公驢、母驢、僕人、婢女。
And he treated Abram well on account of her, and he had sheep and oxen and donkeys and male servants and female servants and female donkeys and camels.
12:17
耶和華因亞伯蘭妻子撒萊的緣故，以大災病擊打法老和他全家。
And Jehovah struck Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai, Abram's wife.
12:18
法老就召了亞伯蘭來，說，你這向我作的是甚麼事？為甚麼沒有告訴我，她是你的妻子？
And Pharaoh called Abram and said, What is this you have done to me? Why did you not tell me that she was your wife?
12:19
為甚麼說她是你的妹妹，以致我把她取來要作我的妻子？現在你的妻子在這裏，把她帶走罷。
Why did you say, She is my sister, so that I took her to be my wife? Now then here is your wife; take her and go.
12:20
於是法老吩咐人將亞伯蘭和他妻子，並他所有的都送走了。
And Pharaoh commanded his men concerning him; and they sent him away with his wife and all that he had.
13:1
亞伯蘭帶著他的妻子和一切所有的，以及羅得，都從埃及上南地去。
And Abram went up out of Egypt, he and his wife and all that he had, and Lot with him, into the Negev.
13:2
亞伯蘭的金、銀、牲畜極多。
And Abram was very rich in livestock, in silver and in gold.
13:3
他從南地漸漸往伯特利去，到了伯特利和艾的中間，就是他起初支搭帳棚的地方，
And he continued on his journey from the Negev as far as Bethel, to the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Bethel and Ai,
13:4
也是他先前築壇的地方；他又在那裏呼求耶和華的名。
To the place of the altar, which he had made there formerly; and there Abram called on the name of Jehovah.
13:5
與亞伯蘭同行的羅得，也有牛群、羊群、帳棚。
And Lot also, who went with Abram, had flocks and herds and tents.
13:6
那地容納不下他們；因為他們的家產甚多，使他們不能同住一起。
And the land could not support them that they might dwell together, for their possessions were so great that they could not dwell together.
13:7
當時，迦南人與比利洗人在那地居住。牧養亞伯蘭牲畜的人和牧養羅得牲畜的人起了爭執。
And there was strife between the herdsmen of Abram's livestock and the herdsmen of Lot's livestock. And at that time the Canaanites and the Perizzites dwelt in the land.
13:8
亞伯蘭就對羅得說，你我不可相爭，你的牧人和我的牧人也不可相爭，因為我們是弟兄。
And Abram said to Lot, Let there please be no strife between me and you and between my herdsmen and your herdsmen, for we are brothers.
13:9
遍地不都在你面前麼？請你離開我；你向左，我就向右；你向右，我就向左。
Is not the whole land before you? Please separate yourself from me. If you go to the left, then I will go to the right. Or if you go to the right, then I will go to the left.
13:10
羅得舉目看見約但河的全平原，直到瑣珥，都是滋潤的；那地在耶和華毀滅所多瑪、蛾摩拉以前，如同耶和華的園子，也像埃及地。
And Lot lifted up his eyes and saw the entire plain of the Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere-this was before Jehovah had destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah-like the garden of Jehovah, like the land of Egypt, as you go to Zoar.
13:11
於是羅得為自己選擇約但河的全平原，往東遷移；他們就彼此分離了。
So Lot chose for himself the entire plain of the Jordan, and Lot journeyed east; and they separated themselves from each other.
13:12
亞伯蘭住在迦南地；羅得住在平原的城邑，並且漸漸挪移帳棚，直到所多瑪。
Abram dwelt in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelt in the cities of the plain and moved his tent as far as Sodom.
13:13
所多瑪人在耶和華面前罪大惡極。
Now the men of Sodom were very wicked and sinful toward Jehovah.
13:14
羅得離別亞伯蘭以後，耶和華對亞伯蘭說，從你所在的地方，舉目向東西南北觀看；
And Jehovah said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him, Now lift up your eyes, and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and eastward and westward;
13:15
凡你所看見的一切地，我都要賜給你和你的後裔，直到永遠。
For all the land that you see I will give to you and to your seed forever.
13:16
我也要使你的後裔如同地上的塵沙那樣多，人若能數算地上的塵沙，才能數算你的後裔。
And I will make your seed as the dust of the earth, so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then your seed can also be numbered.
13:17
你起來，縱橫走遍這地，因為我必把這地賜給你。
Rise up; walk through the land according to its length and its breadth, for I will give it to you.
13:18
亞伯蘭就搬了帳棚，來到希伯崙幔利的橡樹那裏居住，在那裏為耶和華築了一座壇。
And Abram moved his tent and came and dwelt by the oaks of Mamre, which are in Hebron, and there he built an altar to Jehovah.
新約New Testament
馬太福音 Matthew 5:1-16
5:1
但祂看見這些群眾，就上了山；既已坐下，門徒到祂跟前來。
And when He saw the crowds, He went up to the mountain. And after He sat down, His disciples came to Him.
5:2
祂就開口教訓他們說，
And opening His mouth, He taught them, saying,
5:3
靈裏貧窮的人有福了，因為諸天的國是他們的。
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of the heavens.
5:4
哀慟的人有福了，因為他們必得安慰。
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
5:5
溫柔的人有福了，因為他們必承受地土。
Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
5:6
飢渴慕義的人有福了，因為他們必得飽足。
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
5:7
憐憫人的人有福了，因為他們必蒙憐憫。
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall be shown mercy.
5:8
清心的人有福了，因為他們必看見神。
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
5:9
製造和平的人有福了，因為他們必稱為神的兒子。
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God.
5:10
為義受逼迫的人有福了，因為諸天的國是他們的。
Blessed are those who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of the heavens.
5:11
人若因我的緣故，辱駡你們，逼迫你們，捏造各樣壞話譭謗你們，你們就有福了。
Blessed are you when they reproach and persecute you, and while speaking lies, say every evil thing against you because of Me.
5:12
應當喜樂歡騰，因為你們在諸天之上的賞賜是大的；原來在你們以前的申言者，人也是這樣逼迫他們。
Rejoice and exult, for your reward is great in the heavens; for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
5:13
你們是地上的鹽；鹽若失了味，可用甚麼叫它再鹹？既無任何用處，只好丟在外面，任人踐踏了。
You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt has become tasteless, with what shall it be salted? It is no longer good for anything except to be cast out and trampled underfoot by men.
5:14
你們是世上的光。城立在山上，是不能隱藏的。
You are the light of the world. It is impossible for a city situated upon a mountain to be hidden.
5:15
人點燈，也不放在斗底下，乃是放在燈檯上，就照亮所有在家裏的人。
Nor do men light a lamp and place it under the bushel, but on the lampstand; and it shines to all who are in the house.
5:16
你們的光也當這樣照在人前，叫他們看見你們的好行為，就榮耀你們在諸天之上的父。
In the same way, let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in the heavens.
