創世記 Genesis 14:1-16:16
14:1
當暗拉非作示拿王，亞略作以拉撒王，基大老瑪作以攔王，提達作戈印王的時候，
And in the days of Amraphel the king of Shinar, Arioch the king of Ellasar, Chedorlaomer the king of Elam, and Tidal the king of Goiim,
14:2
他們都攻打所多瑪王比銳、蛾摩拉王比沙、押瑪王示納、洗扁王善以別、和比拉王；比拉就是瑣珥。
These kings made war with Bera the king of Sodom and with Birsha the king of Gomorrah, Shinab the king of Admah, and Shemeber the king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela (that is, Zoar).
14:3
這五王都在西訂谷會合；西訂谷就是鹽海。
All these joined together in the valley of Siddim (that is, the Salt Sea).
14:4
他們已經服事基大老瑪十二年，到第十三年就背叛了。
Twelve years they had served Chedorlaomer, and in the thirteenth year they rebelled.
14:5
第十四年，基大老瑪和同盟的王都來在亞特律加寧，擊敗了利乏音人；在哈麥擊敗了蘇西人，在沙微基列亭擊敗了以米人，
And in the fourteenth year Chedorlaomer and the kings who were with him came and struck the Rephaim in Ashteroth-karnaim and the Zuzim in Ham and the Emim in Shaveh-kiriathaim
14:6
在西珥山擊敗了何利人，一直追擊到靠近曠野的伊勒巴蘭。
And the Horites in Mount Seir as far as El-paran, which is by the wilderness.
14:7
他們回到安密巴，就是加低斯，擊敗了亞瑪力全地的人，以及住在哈洗遜他瑪的亞摩利人。
And they turned back and came to En-mishpat (that is, Kadesh), and struck all the country of the Amalekites and also the Amorites who dwelt in Hazazon-tamar.
14:8
於是所多瑪王、蛾摩拉王、押瑪王、洗扁王、和比拉王(比拉就是瑣珥)都出來，在西訂谷擺陣，與他們交戰，
And the king of Sodom and the king of Gomorrah and the king of Admah and the king of Zeboiim and the king of Bela (that is, Zoar) went forth and set the battle in array against them in the valley of Siddim,
14:9
就是與以攔王基大老瑪、戈印王提達、示拿王暗拉非、以拉撒王亞略交戰；乃是四王與五王交戰。
Against Chedorlaomer the king of Elam and Tidal the king of Goiim and Amraphel the king of Shinar and Arioch the king of Ellasar, four kings against the five.
14:10
西訂谷有許多石漆坑；所多瑪王和蛾摩拉王逃跑，掉在坑裏，其餘的人都往山地逃跑。
Now the valley of Siddim was full of tar pits, and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled; and they fell there, but those who survived fled to the hill country.
14:11
四王就把所多瑪和蛾摩拉所有的財物，並一切的糧食，都擄掠去了；
And they took all the possessions of Sodom and Gomorrah and all their food and went away.
14:12
又把亞伯蘭的侄兒羅得和羅得的財物擄掠去了，當時羅得正住在所多瑪。
And they took Lot, Abram's brother's son, and his possessions and departed, for he was dwelling in Sodom.
14:13
有一個逃出來的人，來告訴希伯來人亞伯蘭；亞伯蘭正住在亞摩利人幔利的橡樹那裏。幔利和以實各並亞乃都是弟兄，曾與亞伯蘭聯盟。
And one who had escaped came and told Abram the Hebrew. Now he was dwelling by the oaks of Mamre the Amorite, the brother of Eshcol and brother of Aner; and these were allies of Abram.
14:14
亞伯蘭聽見他侄兒被擄去，就率領他家裏生養的精練壯丁三百一十八人，直追到但，
And when Abram heard that his brother had been taken captive, he led out his trained men, born in his house, three hundred eighteen of them, and pursued as far as Dan.
14:15
便在夜間，自己同僕人分隊擊敗敵人，又追到大馬色北邊的何把，
And he divided his forces against them by night, he and his servants, and struck them and pursued them to Hobah, which is north of Damascus.
14:16
將一切財物奪回來，連他侄兒羅得和他的財物，以及婦女、人民也都奪回來。
And he brought back all the possessions and also brought back Lot his brother and his possessions as well as the women and the people.
14:17
亞伯蘭擊敗基大老瑪和與他同盟的王回來的時候，所多瑪王出來，在沙微谷迎接他；沙微谷就是王谷。
And after his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer and the kings who were with him, the king of Sodom went out to meet him at the valley of Shaveh (that is, the King's Valley).
14:18
又有撒冷王麥基洗德帶著餅和酒出來迎接；他是至高神的祭司。
And Melchizedek the king of Salem brought out bread and wine. Now he was priest of God the Most High.
14:19
他為亞伯蘭祝福，說，願天地的主、至高的神賜福與亞伯蘭；
And he blessed him and said, Blessed be Abram of God the Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth;
14:20
至高的神把敵人交在你手裏，是當受頌讚的。亞伯蘭就將所得的一切，拿了十分之一給他。
And blessed be God the Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand. And Abram gave him a tenth of all.
14:21
所多瑪王對亞伯蘭說，你把人口給我，財物你自己拿去罷。
And the king of Sodom said to Abram, Give me the people, and take the possessions for yourself.
14:22
但亞伯蘭對所多瑪王說，我已經向天地的主，至高的神耶和華舉手起誓；
But Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lifted up my hand to Jehovah, God the Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth,
14:23
凡是你的東西，就是一根線、一根鞋帶，我都不拿，免得你說，我使亞伯蘭富足。
That I will not take a thread or a sandal thong or anything that is yours, lest you say, I have made Abram rich;
14:24
只有僕人們所喫的，並與我同行的亞乃、以實各、幔利所應得的分，可以任憑他們拿去。
Except only that which the young men have eaten and the portion of the men who went with me-Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portion.
15:1
這些事以後，耶和華的話在異象中臨到亞伯蘭，說，亞伯蘭，你不要懼怕；我是你的盾牌，是你極大的賞賜。
After these things the word of Jehovah came to Abram in a vision, saying, Do not be afraid, Abram; I am your shield and your exceedingly great reward.
15:2
亞伯蘭說，主耶和華阿，我快要去世了還沒有兒子，你還賜我甚麼呢？那要承受我家業的，是大馬色人以利以謝。
And Abram said, O Lord Jehovah, what will You give me, for I go childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?
15:3
亞伯蘭又說，你沒有給我後裔；那在我家中的僕人，就是我的後嗣。
And Abram said, Since You have given me no seed, therefore, a servant in my house is my heir.
15:4
但耶和華的話臨到他說，這人必不成為你的後嗣；你本身將要生的，才是你的後嗣。
But then the word of Jehovah came to him, saying, This man shall not be your heir, but he who will come out from your own body shall be your heir.
15:5
於是領他走到外邊，說，你向天觀看，數算眾星，能數得過來麼？又對他說，你的後裔將要如此。
And He brought him outside and said, Look now toward the heavens, and count the stars, if you are able to count them. And He said to him, So shall your seed be.
15:6
亞伯蘭信耶和華，耶和華就以此算為他的義。
And he believed Jehovah, and He accounted it to him as righteousness.
15:7
耶和華又對他說，我是耶和華，曾領你出了迦勒底的吾珥，為要將這地賜你為業。
Then He said to him, I am Jehovah who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to inherit it.
15:8
亞伯蘭說，主耶和華阿，我怎能知道必得這地為業呢？
And he said, O Lord Jehovah, how will I know that I will inherit it?
15:9
祂說，你為我取一隻三歲的母牛、一隻三歲的母山羊、一隻三歲的公綿羊、一隻斑鳩、一隻雛鴿。
And He said to him, Bring Me a three-year-old heifer and a three-year-old female goat and a three-year-old ram and a turtledove and a young pigeon.
15:10
亞伯蘭就取了這些來，每樣從中剖開，分成兩半，一半對著一半的擺列，只有鳥沒有剖開。
And he brought Him all these and cut them in two in the middle and laid the half of each opposite the other, but the birds he did not cut in two.
15:11
有鷙鳥下來，落在死畜的肉上，亞伯蘭就把牠們嚇飛了。
And the birds of prey came down upon the carcasses, and Abram drove them away.
15:12
日頭正落的時候，亞伯蘭沉沉的睡了；忽然有驚人的大黑暗落在他身上。
And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, behold, a terror and great darkness fell upon him.
15:13
耶和華對亞伯蘭說，你要確實知道，你的後裔必寄居別人的地，又服事那地的人；那地的人要苦待他們四百年。
And He said to Abram, Know assuredly that your seed will be sojourners in a land that is not theirs, and they will serve them; and they will afflict them four hundred years.
15:14
但他們所要服事的那國，我要懲罰，後來他們必帶著許多財物從那裏出來。
But I will also judge that nation, whom they will serve, and afterward they will come out with great possessions.
15:15
至於你，你要享大壽數，被人埋葬，平平安安的歸到你列祖那裏。
But as for you, you will go to your fathers in peace; you will be buried in a good old age.
15:16
到了第四代，他們必回到此地，因為亞摩利人的罪孽還沒有滿盈。
And in the fourth generation they will come here again, for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete.
15:17
日落天黑，不料有冒煙的爐並燒著的火把，從那些肉塊中經過。
And when the sun went down and it was dark, there came a smoking furnace and a torch of fire which passed between these pieces.
15:18
當那日，耶和華與亞伯蘭立約，說，我已賜給你的後裔，從埃及河直到伯拉大河之地，
On that day Jehovah made a covenant with Abram, saying, To your seed do I give this land, From the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates:
15:19
就是基尼人、基尼洗人、甲摩尼人、
The land of the Kenites and the Kenizzites and the Kadmonites
15:20
赫人、比利洗人、利乏音人、
And the Hittites and the Perizzites and the Rephaim
15:21
亞摩利人、迦南人、革迦撒人、耶布斯人之地。
And the Amorites and the Canaanites and the Girgashites and the Jebusites.
16:1
亞伯蘭的妻子撒萊沒有給他生兒女。撒萊有一個使女，名叫夏甲，是埃及人。
Now Sarai, Abram's wife, bore him no children; and she had an Egyptian female servant, whose name was Hagar.
16:2
撒萊對亞伯蘭說，耶和華使我不能生育，求你和我的使女同房，或者我可以因她得孩子。亞伯蘭聽了撒萊的話。
And Sarai said to Abram, Because Jehovah has prevented me from bearing, please go in to my female servant; perhaps I will obtain children by her. And Abram listened to the voice of Sarai.
16:3
於是亞伯蘭的妻子撒萊，將使女埃及人夏甲給了她丈夫為妻；那時亞伯蘭在迦南地已經住了十年。
So after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, Sarai, Abram's wife, took Hagar the Egyptian, her female servant, and gave her to Abram her husband to be a wife.
16:4
亞伯蘭與夏甲同房，夏甲就懷了孕；她見自己有孕，就輕看她的主母。
And he went in to Hagar, and she conceived; and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.
16:5
撒萊對亞伯蘭說，願我受的屈辱歸到你身上。我將我的使女放在你懷中，她見自己有了孕，竟輕看我。願耶和華在你我中間行判斷。
And Sarai said to Abram, May the wrong done to me be upon you. I gave my female servant into your bosom, and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes. May Jehovah judge between me and you.
16:6
亞伯蘭對撒萊說，使女在你手下，你看怎樣好，就怎樣待她罷。於是撒萊苦待她，她就從撒萊面前逃走了。
And Abram said to Sarai, Your female servant is now in your hand; do to her what is good in your eyes. So Sarai dealt harshly with her, and she fled from before her.
16:7
耶和華的使者在曠野往書珥路上的水泉旁遇見她，
And the Angel of Jehovah found her by a spring of water in the wilderness, by the spring on the way to Shur.
16:8
對她說，撒萊的使女夏甲，你從那裏來？要往那裏去？夏甲說，我從我的主母撒萊面前逃出來。
And He said, Hagar, Sarai's female servant, where did you come from and where are you going? And she said, I am fleeing from before my mistress Sarai.
16:9
耶和華的使者對她說，你回到你主母那裏，服在她手下；
And the Angel of Jehovah said to her, Return to your mistress, and submit yourself under her hands.
16:10
又說，我必使你的後裔極其繁多，甚至不可勝數；
And the Angel of Jehovah said to her, I will greatly multiply your seed so that it will not be counted for multitude.
16:11
並說，你如今懷孕要生一個兒子，可以給他起名叫以實瑪利，因為耶和華聽見了你的苦情。
And the Angel of Jehovah said to her, You have now conceived And will bear a son, And you shall call his name Ishmael, Because Jehovah has heard of your affliction.
16:12
他為人必像野驢；他的手要攻打人，人的手也要攻打他；他必住在眾弟兄的東邊。
And he will be a wild ass of a man; His hand will be against everyone, And everyone's hand, against him; And he will settle down opposite all his brothers.
16:13
夏甲就稱那對她說話之耶和華的名為：你是啟示自己的神；因為她說，祂向我啟示了祂自己，我在這裏居然還存活麼？
And she called the name of Jehovah who spoke to her, You are a God who reveals Himself, for she said, Do I even remain here after He has revealed Himself to me?
16:14
所以這井名叫庇耳拉海萊；這井在加低斯和巴列之間。
Therefore the well was called Beer-lahai-roi; there it is, between Kadesh and Bered.
16:15
後來夏甲給亞伯蘭生了一個兒子；亞伯蘭給他起名叫以實瑪利。
And Hagar bore Abram a son, and Abram called the name of his son, whom Hagar bore, Ishmael.
16:16
夏甲給亞伯蘭生以實瑪利的時候，亞伯蘭年八十六歲。
And Abram was eighty-six years old when Hagar bore Ishmael to Abram.
新約New Testament
馬太福音 Matthew 5:17-48
5:17
不要以為我來是要廢除律法或申言者；我來不是要廢除，乃是要成全。
Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets; I have not come to abolish, but to fulfill.
5:18
我實在告訴你們，即使到天地都過去了，律法的一撇或一畫，也絕不能過去，直到一切都得成全。
For truly I say to you, Until heaven and earth pass away, one iota or one serif shall by no means pass away from the law until all come to pass.
5:19
所以無論誰廢掉這些誡命中最小的一條，又這樣教訓人，他在諸天的國裏必稱為最小的；但無論誰遵行這些誡命，又這樣教訓人，這人在諸天的國裏必稱為大的。
Therefore whoever annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called the least in the kingdom of the heavens; but whoever practices and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of the heavens.
5:20
我告訴你們，你們的義，若不超過經學家和法利賽人的義，絕不能進諸天的國。
For I say to you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall by no means enter into the kingdom of the heavens.
5:21
你們聽見有對古人說的話：“不可殺人；凡殺人的，難逃審判。”
You have heard that it was said to the ancients, "You shall not murder, and whoever murders shall be liable to the judgment.''
5:22
但是我告訴你們，凡向弟兄動怒的，難逃審判。凡罵弟兄拉加的，難逃議會的審判；凡罵弟兄魔利的，難逃火坑的火。
But I say to you that every one who is angry with his brother shall be liable to the judgment. And whoever says to his brother, Raca, shall be liable to the judgment of the Sanhedrin; and whoever says, Moreh, shall be liable to the Gehenna of fire.
5:23
所以你在祭壇前獻禮物，若想起你的弟兄向你懷怨，
Therefore if you are offering your gift at the altar and there you remember that your brother has something against you,
5:24
就要把禮物留在壇前，先去與你的弟兄和好，然後來獻禮物。
Leave your gift there before the altar, and first go and be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
5:25
你同告你的對頭還在路上，要趕緊與他和息，免得他把你交給審判官，審判官交給差役，你就下在監裏了。
Be well disposed quickly toward your opponent at law, while you are with him on the way, lest the opponent deliver you to the judge, and the judge to the officer, and you be thrown into prison.
5:26
我實在告訴你，非到你還清最後一分錢，你絕不能從那裏出來。
Truly I say to you, You shall by no means come out from there until you pay the last quadrans.
5:27
你們聽見有話說，“不可姦淫。”
You have heard that it was said, "You shall not commit adultery.''
5:28
但是我告訴你們，凡看婦女，有意貪戀她的，心裏已經與她犯姦淫了。
But I say to you that every one who looks at a woman in order to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
5:29
若是你的右眼叫你絆跌，就剜出來丟掉；因為你肢體中的一個喪失了，強於你全身扔在火坑裏。
So if your right eye stumbles you, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna.
5:30
若是你的右手叫你絆跌，就砍下來丟掉；因為你肢體中的一個喪失了，強於你全身往火坑裏去。
And if your right hand stumbles you, cut it off and cast it from you, for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish than for your whole body to pass away into Gehenna.
5:31
又有話說，人若休妻，就當給她休書。
And it was said, Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.
5:32
但是我告訴你們，凡休妻的，若不是為淫亂的緣故，就是叫她犯姦淫了；無論誰娶這被休的婦人，也是犯姦淫了。
But I say to you that every one who divorces his wife, except for the cause of fornication, causes her to commit adultery, and whoever marries her who has been divorced commits adultery.
5:33
你們又聽見有對古人說的話：“不可背誓，所起的誓，總要向主謹守。”
Again, you have heard that it was said to the ancients, "You shall not break an oath, but you shall render to the Lord your oaths.''
5:34
但是我告訴你們，甚麼誓都不可起，不可指著天起誓，因為天是神的座位；
But I tell you not to swear at all; neither by heaven, because it is the throne of God;
5:35
不可指著地起誓，因為地是祂的腳凳；不可指著耶路撒冷起誓，因為耶路撒冷是大君王的城；
Nor by the earth, because it is the footstool of His feet; nor unto Jerusalem, because it is the city of the great King;
5:36
也不可指著你的頭起誓，因為你不能使一根頭髮變白或變黑。
Neither shall you swear by your head, because you cannot make one hair white or black.
5:37
你們的話，是，就說是，不是，就說不是；若再多說，就是出於那惡者。
But let your word be, Yes, yes; No, no; for anything more than these is of the evil one.
5:38
你們聽見有話說，“以眼還眼，以牙還牙。”
You have heard that it was said, "An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.''
5:39
但是我告訴你們，不要抗拒惡人；反而無論誰打你的右臉，連另一面也轉給他。
But I tell you not to resist him who is evil; rather whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also.
5:40
那想要告你，要拿你裏衣的，連外衣也讓給他；
And to him who wishes to sue you and take your tunic, yield to him your cloak also;
5:41
無論誰強逼你走一裏路，你就同他走二裏。
And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two.
5:42
求你的，就給他；向你借貸的，不可轉開不顧他。
To him who asks of you, give; and from him who wants to borrow from you, do not turn away.
5:43
你們聽見有話說，“當愛你的鄰舍，恨你的仇敵。”
You have heard that it was said, "You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.''
5:44
但是我告訴你們，要愛你們的仇敵，為那逼迫你們的禱告，
But I say to you, Love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you,
5:45
你們就可以作你們諸天之上父的兒子；因為祂叫祂的日頭上升，照惡人，也照好人；降雨給義人，也給不義的人。
So that you may become sons of your Father who is in the heavens, because He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good and sends rain on the just and the unjust.
5:46
你們若愛那愛你們的人，有甚麼賞賜？稅吏不也是這樣行麼？
For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?
5:47
你們若單向你們的弟兄問安，有甚麼過人的長處？外邦人不也是這樣行麼？
And if you greet only your brothers, what better thing are you doing? Do not even the Gentiles do the same?
5:48
所以你們要完全，像你們的天父完全一樣。
You therefore shall be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect.
