創世記 Genesis 19:1-20:18
19:1
那兩個天使傍晚到了所多瑪；羅得正坐在所多瑪城門口，看見他們，就起來迎接，面伏於地下拜，
And the two angels came to Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom. And when Lot saw them, he rose up to meet them and bowed with his face to the ground.
19:2
說，我主阿，請你們轉來僕人家裏洗洗腳，過一夜，清早起來再上路。他們說，不，我們要在大街上過夜。
And he said, Now, my lords, please turn aside here to your servant's house, and spend the night, and wash your feet; then you can rise up early and go on your way. But they said, No; we will spend the night in the square.
19:3
羅得切切的請他們，他們才轉身進到他屋裏。羅得為他們豫備筵席，烤無酵餅，他們就喫了。
But he urged them strongly, and they turned aside to him and entered his house. And he made them a feast and baked unleavened bread, and they ate.
19:4
他們還沒有躺下，所多瑪城裏各處的人，連老帶少，都來圍住那房子，
But before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, surrounded the house, both young and old, all the people from every quarter;
19:5
呼叫羅得說，今晚到你這裏來的人在那裏？把他們帶出來給我們，任我們所為。
And they called to Lot and said to him, Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may know them.
19:6
羅得出到門口，把門關上，到眾人那裏，
And Lot went out to them at the entrance and shut the door behind him.
19:7
說，我的弟兄們，請你們不要作這惡事。
And he said, Please, my brothers, do not act so wickedly.
19:8
我有兩個女兒，還是處女，讓我領出來，照你們看為好的而行；只是這兩個人既然到我舍下，不要向他們作甚麼。
I have here two daughters who have not known a man. Please, let me bring them out to you, and do to them as is fitting in your eyes; only do not do anything to these men, inasmuch as they have come under the shelter of my roof.
19:9
但眾人說，走開罷！又說，這個人來寄居，還作起審判官了！現在我們要害你比害他們更甚。眾人就極力擁擠羅得，向前要攻破房門。
But they said, Stand aside. Then they said, This one came here to sojourn, and already he is acting like a judge. Now we will treat you worse than we would have them. And they pressed hard against the man, against Lot, and came near in order to break down the door.
19:10
但那兩個人伸出手來，將羅得拉進屋裏，把門關上，
But the men stretched out their hand and brought Lot into the house to them and shut the door.
19:11
並且使門外的人，無論老少，眼都昏迷；他們耗盡了力氣，也尋不著房門。
And they struck the men who were at the entrance of the house with blindness, both small and great, so that they wearied themselves trying to find the entrance.
19:12
那兩個人對羅得說，你這裏還有甚麼人？無論是女婿，是兒女，還是這城中一切屬你的人，你都將他們從這地方帶出去。
And the men said to Lot, Whom else do you have here? A son-in-law or your sons and your daughters or anyone you have in the city-bring them out of the place.
19:13
我們就要毀滅這地方；因為他們罪惡的聲音在耶和華面前甚大，耶和華差我們來，要毀滅這地方。
For we are about to destroy this place, because their outcry has become so great before Jehovah that Jehovah has sent us to destroy it.
19:14
羅得就出去，告訴要娶他女兒的女婿們說，你們起來離開這地方，因為耶和華要毀滅這城。他女婿們卻以為他在說戲言。
And Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who were to marry his daughters, and said, Rise up; go forth from this place, for Jehovah will destroy the city. But it seemed to his sons-in-law as though he were joking.
19:15
天明了，天使催逼羅得說，起來，帶著你的妻子和你在這裏的兩個女兒出去，免得你因這城裏的罪孽同被剿滅。
And when the morning dawned, the angels urged Lot, saying, Rise up; take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be destroyed in the iniquity of the city.
19:16
但羅得遲延不走。那兩個人因為耶和華憐憫羅得，就抓著他的手和他妻子的手，並他兩個女兒的手，把他們領出來，安置在城外；
But he lingered; so the men seized his hand and the hand of his wife and the hand of his two daughters, Jehovah being merciful to him, and they brought him out and set him outside the city.
19:17
領他們出來以後，就說，逃命罷！不可回頭看，也不可在平原上任何一處站住。要往山上逃跑，免得你被剿滅。
And when they had brought them outside, He said, Escape for your life. Do not look behind you, neither stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the hills, lest you be destroyed.
19:18
羅得對他們說，主阿，但願不要如此。
And Lot said to them, May it not be so, Lord;
19:19
你僕人已經在你眼前蒙恩，你又向我顯出莫大的慈愛，保全我的性命；我沒有力量逃到山上，恐怕這災禍追上我，我便死了。
Even though Your servant has found favor in Your sight, and You have magnified Your lovingkindness, which You have showed to me in preserving my life; I cannot escape to the mountain, lest the disaster overtake me and I die.
19:20
看哪，這座小城很近，容易逃到。這不是一座小城麼？求你讓我逃到那裏，我的性命就得存活。
Here, this city is nearby to flee to, and it is a little one. Please let me escape there-is it not a little one?-and I shall live.
19:21
天使對他說，這事我也應允你；我不傾覆你所說的這城。
And He said to him, I now grant you this request also, that I will not overthrow the city concerning which you have spoken.
19:22
你要快快逃到那裏；因為你還沒有到那裏，我不能作甚麼。因此那城名叫瑣珥。
Hurry, escape there; for I cannot do anything until you arrive there. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.
19:23
羅得到了瑣珥，日頭已經升起，照在地上。
The sun had risen over the earth when Lot came to Zoar.
19:24
當時，耶和華將硫磺與火從天上耶和華那裏，降與所多瑪和蛾摩拉，
Then Jehovah rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from Jehovah out of heaven.
19:25
傾覆了那些城和全平原，並城裏所有的居民，以及地上生長的一切。
And He overthrew those cities and all the plain and all the inhabitants of the cities and what grew on the ground.
19:26
羅得的妻子在後邊回頭一看，就變成了一根鹽柱。
But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
19:27
亞伯拉罕清早起來，到了他從前站在耶和華面前的地方，
And Abraham rose up early in the morning and went to the place where he had stood before Jehovah.
19:28
向所多瑪和蛾摩拉與平原的全地觀望，不料，那地方煙氣上騰，如同燒窯的煙氣一般。
And he looked down upon Sodom and Gomorrah and upon all the land of the plain. And as he looked, there it was: the smoke of the land was going up like the smoke of a furnace.
19:29
當神毀滅平原諸城的時候，祂記念亞伯拉罕，正在傾覆羅得所住之諸城的時候，就打發羅得從傾覆之中出來。
And when God destroyed the cities of the plain, God remembered Abraham and sent Lot out from the middle of the overthrow, when He overthrew the cities among which Lot dwelt.
19:30
羅得因為怕住在瑣珥，就同他兩個女兒從瑣珥上去，住在山裏；他和兩個女兒住在一個洞裏。
Then Lot went up out of Zoar and dwelt in the mountains, and his two daughters with him, for he was afraid to dwell in Zoar. And he and his two daughters dwelt in a cave.
19:31
大女兒對小女兒說，我們的父親老了，地上又無人按著世上的常規，來親近我們。
And the firstborn said to the younger, Our father is old, and there is not a man on the earth to come in to us after the manner of all the earth.
19:32
來，我們可以叫父親喝酒，與他同寢。這樣，我們就可從他存留後裔。
Come, let us make our father drink wine; and let us lie with him, that we may preserve alive seed from our father.
19:33
於是，那夜她們叫父親喝酒，大女兒就進去和她父親同寢；她幾時躺下，幾時起來，父親都不知道。
And they made their father drink wine that night. And the firstborn went in and lay with her father, and he did not know when she lay down or when she arose.
19:34
第二天，大女兒對小女兒說，我昨夜與父親同寢。今夜我們再叫他喝酒，你可以進去與他同寢。這樣，我們就可從父親存留後裔。
And the next day the firstborn said to the younger, I have now lain with my father last night. Let us make him drink wine tonight also; and you go in, and lie with him, that we may preserve alive seed from our father.
19:35
於是，那夜她們又叫父親喝酒，小女兒起來與她父親同寢；她幾時躺下，幾時起來，父親都不知道。
And they made their father drink wine that night also. And the younger one arose and lay with him, and he did not know when she lay down or when she arose.
19:36
這樣，羅得的兩個女兒，都從她們父親懷了孕。
Thus both the daughters of Lot became pregnant by their father.
19:37
大女兒生了兒子，給他起名叫摩押，他是現今摩押人的始祖。
And the firstborn bore a son and called his name Moab; he is the father of the Moabites to this day.
19:38
小女兒也生了兒子，給他起名叫便亞米，他是現今亞捫人的始祖。
And the younger, she also bore a son and called his name Ben-ammi; he is the father of the children of Ammon to this day.
20:1
亞伯拉罕從那裏向南地遷去，住在加低斯和書珥之間，寄居在基拉耳。
And Abraham journeyed from there toward the region of the Negev and dwelt between Kadesh and Shur; then he sojourned in Gerar.
20:2
亞伯拉罕題到他的妻子撒拉，說，她是我的妹妹。基拉耳王亞比米勒差人把撒拉取了去。
And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She is my sister. And Abimelech the king of Gerar sent and took Sarah.
20:3
但夜間神來在夢中對亞比米勒說，你要死啦！因為你取了那女人來；她原是別人的妻子。
But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night and said to him, You are now about to die because of the woman whom you have taken, for she is a man's wife.
20:4
亞比米勒卻還沒有親近撒拉；他說，主阿，連公義的國，你也要殺滅麼？
But Abimelech had not come near her, so he said, Lord, will You slay even a righteous nation?
20:5
那人豈不是自己對我說，她是我的妹妹麼？就是女人自己也說，他是我的哥哥。我作這事是心正手潔的。
Did he himself not say to me, She is my sister? And even she herself said, He is my brother. In the integrity of my heart and the innocence of my hands I have done this.
20:6
神在夢中對他說，我知道你作這事是心中純正；我也攔阻了你，免得你得罪我；所以我不讓你碰她。
And God said to him in the dream, Yes, I know that in the integrity of your heart you have done this, and I also prevented you from sinning against Me; therefore I did not let you touch her.
20:7
現在你把這人的妻子歸還他；因為他是申言者，他要為你禱告，使你存活。你若不歸還，你當知道，你和你所有的人都必要死。
Now therefore return the man's wife, for he is a prophet, and he will pray for you, and you will live. But if you do not return her, know that you shall surely die, you and all who are yours.
20:8
亞比米勒清早起來，召了眾臣僕來，將這些事都說給他們聽，他們就甚懼怕。
And Abimelech rose early in the morning and called all his servants and spoke all these things in their hearing. And the men were very afraid.
20:9
亞比米勒召了亞伯拉罕來，對他說，你向我們作了甚麼事？我在甚麼事上得罪了你，你竟使我和我的國陷在大罪裏？你向我作了不當作的事了！
Then Abimelech called Abraham and said to him, What have you done to us? And how have I sinned against you, that you have brought on me and on my kingdom a great sin? You have done to me things that ought not to be done.
20:10
亞比米勒又對亞伯拉罕說，你見了甚麼才作這事呢？
And Abimelech said to Abraham, What did you see, that you have done this thing?
20:11
亞伯拉罕說，我以為這地方的人總不懼怕神，必為我妻子的緣故殺我。
And Abraham said, Because I thought, Surely there is no fear of God in this place, and they will slay me because of my wife.
20:12
況且她也實在是我的妹妹；她與我是同父異母，後來作了我的妻子。
But she is also truly my sister, the daughter of my father, but not the daughter of my mother; and she became my wife.
20:13
當神叫我離開父家、飄流在外的時候，我對她說，我們無論走到甚麼地方，你題到我，要說，他是我的哥哥；這就是你以恩慈待我了。
And when God caused me to wander from my father's house, I said to her, This is your kindness which you must do to me: At every place where we go, say of me, He is my brother.
20:14
亞比米勒把牛、羊、僕人、婢女賜給亞伯拉罕，又把他的妻子撒拉歸還他。
Then Abimelech took sheep and oxen and male servants and female servants, and gave them to Abraham; and he returned to him Sarah his wife.
20:15
亞比米勒又說，看哪，我的地都在你面前，你可以隨意居住；
And Abimelech said, My land is now before you; dwell wherever it pleases you.
20:16
又對撒拉說，我給你哥哥一千錠銀子，作為你在全家人面前遮羞的，你就在各方面沒有不是了。
And to Sarah he said, I have now given your brother a thousand pieces of silver. It is now your vindication before all who are with you. And in every respect you have been cleared.
20:17
亞伯拉罕禱告神，神就醫好了亞比米勒和他的妻子，並他的眾女僕，她們便能生育。
And Abraham prayed to God; and God healed Abimelech and his wife and his female servants, so that they bore children.
20:18
因耶和華為亞伯拉罕的妻子撒拉的緣故，已經使亞比米勒家中所有的婦人，都不能生育。
For Jehovah had completely shut up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech because of Sarah, Abraham's wife.
新約New Testament
馬太福音 Matthew 7:1-29
7:1
不要審判，免得你們受審判；
Do not judge, that you be not judged.
7:2
因為你們用甚麼審判審判人，也必受甚麼審判；你們用甚麼量器量給人，也必用甚麼量器量給你們。
For with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged; and with what measure you measure, it shall be measured to you.
7:3
再者，為甚麼看見你弟兄眼中的刺，卻不想到自己眼中的梁木？
And why do you look at the splinter which is in your brother's eye, but the beam in your eye you do not consider?
7:4
或者，你怎能對你弟兄說，讓我去掉你眼中的刺，而你自己眼中竟有梁木？
Or how can you say to your brother, Let me remove the splinter from your eye, and behold, the beam is in your eye?
7:5
你這假冒為善的人，先從你眼中去掉梁木，然後你才看得清楚，從你弟兄眼中去掉刺。
Hypocrite, first remove the beam from your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the splinter from your brother's eye.
7:6
不要把聖物給狗，也不要把你們的珍珠丟在豬前，免得它們用腳踐踏珍珠，並且轉過來撕裂你們。
Do not give that which is holy to the dogs, neither cast your pearls before the hogs, lest they trample them with their feet, and turn and tear you.
7:7
求，就給你們；尋找，就尋見；叩門，就給你們開門。
Ask and it shall be given to you; seek and you shall find; knock and it shall be opened to you.
7:8
因為凡求的，就得著；尋找的，就尋見；叩門的，就給他開門。
For every one who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it shall be opened.
7:9
或者，你們中間有甚麼人，他的兒子向他求餅，反給他石頭？
Or what man is there among you who, when his son asks him for a loaf, will give him a stone?
7:10
或求魚，反給他蛇？
Or also when he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent?
7:11
你們雖然不好，尚且知道把好東西給兒女，何況你們在諸天之上的父，豈不更把好東西給求祂的人麼？
If you then being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in the heavens give good things to those who ask Him!
7:12
所以無論何事，你們願意人怎樣待你們，你們也要怎樣待人；因為這就是律法和申言者的總綱。
Therefore all that you wish men would do to you, so also you do to them; for this is the law and the prophets.
7:13
你們要進窄門；因為引到毀壞的，那門寬，那路闊，進去的人也多；
Enter in through the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter through it.
7:14
引到生命的，那門窄，那路狹，找著的人也少。
Because narrow is the gate and constricted is the way that leads to life, and few are those who find it.
7:15
你們要提防假申言者，他們到你們這裏來，外面披著綿羊的皮，裏面卻是貪食的狼。
Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
7:16
從他們的果子，你們就可以認出他們來。人豈能從荊棘收取葡萄？或從蒺藜收取無花果？
By their fruits you will recognize them. Do men gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles?
7:17
這樣，凡是好樹都結善果，惟獨壞樹才結惡果。
Even so every good tree produces good fruit, but the corrupt tree produces bad fruit.
7:18
好樹不能結惡果，壞樹也不能結善果。
A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, neither can a corrupt tree produce good fruit.
7:19
凡不結善果的樹，就砍下來，丟在火裏。
Every tree that does not produce good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire.
7:20
所以，從他們的果子，你們就可以認出他們來。
So then, by their fruits you will recognize them.
7:21
不是每一個對我說，主啊，主啊的人，都能進諸天的國，惟獨實行我諸天之上父旨意的人，才能進去。
Not every one who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but he who does the will of My Father who is in the heavens.
7:22
當那日，許多人要對我說，主啊，主啊，我們不是在你的名裏預言過，在你的名裏趕鬼過，並在你的名裏行過許多異能麼？
Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, was it not in Your name that we prophesied, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name did many works of power?
7:23
那時，我要向他們宣告：我從來不認識你們，你們這些行不法的人，離開我去吧。
And then I will declare to them: I never knew you. Depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness.
7:24
所以，凡聽見我這些話就實行的，好比一個精明人，把他的房子蓋在磐石上。
Every one therefore who hears these words of Mine and does them shall be likened to a prudent man who built his house upon the rock.
7:25
雨淋、河沖、風吹，撞著那房子，房子總不倒塌，因為是立基在磐石上。
And the rain descended, and the rivers came, and the winds blew, and they beat against that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
7:26
凡聽見我這些話不實行的，好比一個愚拙人，把他的房子蓋在沙土上。
And every one who hears these words of Mine and does not do them shall be likened to a foolish man who built his house upon the sand.
7:27
雨淋、河沖、風吹，撞著那房子，房子就倒塌了，並且倒塌得很大。
And the rain descended, and the rivers came, and the winds blew, and they dashed against that house; and it fell, and its fall was great.
7:28
耶穌講完了這些話，群眾都驚訝祂的教訓；
And when Jesus finished these words, the crowds were astounded at His teaching,
7:29
因為祂教訓他們，像有權柄的人，不像他們的經學家。
For He taught them as One having authority and not like their scribes.
