士師記 Judges 1:1-3:6

1:1

約書亞死後，以色列人求問耶和華說，誰要為我們先上去攻擊迦南人，與他們爭戰？

And after the death of Joshua, the children of Israel inquired of Jehovah, saying, Who will go up first for us against the Canaanites, in order to fight against them?

1:2

耶和華說，猶大要先上去，我已將那地交在他手中。

And Jehovah said, Judah shall go up. I have now given the land into his hand.

1:3

猶大對他哥哥西緬說，請你同我上我拈鬮所得之地去，好與迦南人爭戰；以後我也同你到你拈鬮所得之地去。於是西緬與他同去。

And Judah said to Simeon his brother, Come up with me into my lot, and we will fight against the Canaanites; and I will go also with you into your lot. And Simeon went with him.

1:4

猶大就上去，耶和華將迦南人和比利洗人交在他們手中；他們在比色擊殺了一萬人。

So Judah went up, and Jehovah gave the Canaanites and the Perizzites into their hand; and they struck ten thousand of their men in Bezek.

1:5

他們在比色又遇見亞多尼比色，就與他爭戰，擊殺了迦南人和比利洗人。

And they found Adoni-bezek in Bezek and fought with him; and they struck the Canaanites and the Perizzites.

1:6

亞多尼比色逃跑；他們追趕他，把他捉住，砍斷他手腳的大拇指。

And Adoni-bezek fled; and they pursued after him and caught him, and they cut off his thumbs and his big toes.

1:7

亞多尼比色說，從前有七十個王，手腳的大拇指都被我砍斷，在我桌子底下拾取零碎食物。現在神按著我所行的報應我了。他們將亞多尼比色帶到耶路撒冷，他就死在那裏。

And Adoni-bezek said, Seventy kings with their thumbs and their big toes cut off gleaned scraps under my table. As I have done, so God has repaid me. And they brought him to Jerusalem, and he died there.

1:8

猶大人攻打耶路撒冷，將城攻取，用刀擊殺了城內的人，並且放火燒城。

And the children of Judah fought against Jerusalem, and they took it and struck it with the edge of the sword; and they set the city on fire.

1:9

後來猶大人下去，與住山地、南地、和低陸的迦南人爭戰。

And afterward the children of Judah went down to fight against the Canaanites who inhabited the hill country and the Negev and the lowland.

1:10

猶大人去攻擊住希伯崙的迦南人，殺了示篩、亞希幔、撻買。(希伯崙從前名叫基列亞巴。)

Then Judah went against the Canaanites who dwelt in Hebron. (Now the name of Hebron was formerly Kiriath- arba.) And they struck Sheshai and Ahiman and Talmai.

1:11

他們從那裏去攻擊底璧的居民。(底璧從前名叫基列西弗。)

And he went up from there to the inhabitants of Debir. (Now the name of Debir was formerly Kiriath-sepher.)

1:12

迦勒說，誰能攻打基列西弗，將城奪取，我就把我女兒押撒給他為妻。

And Caleb said, Whoever strikes Kiriath-sepher and takes it, I will give to him Achsah my daughter as wife.

1:13

迦勒弟弟基納斯的兒子俄陀聶奪取了那城，迦勒就把女兒押撒給他為妻。

Then Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb's younger brother, took it; and he gave him Achsah his daughter as wife.

1:14

押撒過門的時候，勸丈夫向她父親求一塊田。押撒一下驢，迦勒問她說，你要甚麼？

And when she came to him, she urged him to ask her father for the field. And she alighted from her donkey, and Caleb said to her, What do you want?

1:15

她說，求你賜福給我，你既將南地給了我，求你也給我水泉。迦勒就把上泉和下泉賜給她。

And she said to him, Give me a blessing, for you have given me land in the Negev; give me also springs of water. So Caleb gave her the upper springs and the lower springs.

1:16

摩西的岳父是基尼人，他的子孫與猶大人一同離了棕樹城，上亞拉得以南的猶大曠野去，就住在民中。

And the children of the Kenite, Moses' father-in-law, went up from the city of palms with the children of Judah into the wilderness of Judah, which is to the south of Arad. And they went and dwelt with the people.

1:17

猶大和他哥哥西緬同去，擊殺了住洗法的迦南人，將城盡行毀滅，給那城起名叫何珥瑪。

Then Judah went with Simeon his brother and struck the Canaanites who inhabited Zephath; and they utterly destroyed it. And they called the name of the city Hormah.

1:18

猶大又取了迦薩和迦薩的四境，亞實基倫和亞實基倫的四境，以革倫和以革倫的四境。

And Judah took Gaza and its territory and Ashkelon and its territory and Ekron and its territory.

1:19

耶和華與猶大同在，猶大就得了山地為業，只是不能趕出山谷的居民，因為他們有鐵車。

And Jehovah was with Judah. And they took possession of the hill country, but they could not dispossess the inhabitants of the valley, for they had chariots of iron.

1:20

以色列人照摩西所說的，將希伯崙給了迦勒；迦勒就從那裏趕出亞衲人的三支子孫。

And they gave Hebron to Caleb, as Moses had spoken; and he dispossessed the three sons of Anak from there.

1:21

便雅憫人沒有趕出住耶路撒冷的耶布斯人；耶布斯人仍在耶路撒冷與便雅憫人同住，直到今日。

But the Jebusites, who dwelt in Jerusalem, the children of Benjamin did not dispossess; thus the Jebusites dwell with the children of Benjamin in Jerusalem to this day.

1:22

約瑟家也上去攻打伯特利；耶和華與他們同在。

And the house of Joseph, they also, went up against Bethel; and Jehovah was with them.

1:23

約瑟家打發人去窺探伯特利。(那城起先名叫路斯。)

And the house of Joseph spied out Bethel. (Now the name of the city was formerly Luz.)

1:24

窺探的人看見一個人從城裏出來，就對他說，求你將進城的路指示我們，我們必以恩慈待你。

And those who watched saw a man coming out of the city; and they said to him, Show us now the entrance of the city, and we will show mercy to you.

1:25

那人將進城的路指示他們，他們就用刀擊殺了城中的人，但將那人和他全家放走。

And he showed them the entrance of the city, and they struck the city with the edge of the sword; but they let the man and all his family go.

1:26

那人往赫人之地去，築了一座城，起名叫路斯；那城到如今還叫這名。

And the man went into the land of the Hittites; and he built a city and called its name Luz, which is its name unto this day.

1:27

瑪拿西沒有趕出伯善和屬伯善鄉鎮的居民，他納和屬他納鄉鎮的居民，多珥和屬多珥鄉鎮的居民，以伯蓮和屬以伯蓮鄉鎮的居民，米吉多和屬米吉多鄉鎮的居民；迦南人執意住在那地。

And Manasseh did not dispossess Beth-shean with its towns or Taanach with its towns or the inhabitants of Dor with its towns or the inhabitants of Ibleam with its towns or the inhabitants of Megiddo with its towns, but the Canaanites persisted in dwelling in that land.

1:28

及至以色列強盛了，就使迦南人服苦役，只是沒有把他們全然趕出。

And when Israel became strong, they made the Canaanites forced labor; but they did not utterly dispossess them.

1:29

以法蓮沒有趕出住基色的迦南人；於是迦南人仍住在基色，在以法蓮中間。

And Ephraim did not dispossess the Canaanites who dwelt in Gezer, but the Canaanites dwelt among them in Gezer.

1:30

西布倫沒有趕出基倫的居民和拿哈拉的居民；於是迦南人仍住在西布倫中間，成了服苦役的人。

Zebulun did not dispossess the inhabitants of Kitron or the inhabitants of Nahalol, but the Canaanites dwelt among them and became forced labor.

1:31

亞設沒有趕出亞柯的居民，和西頓、亞黑拉、亞革悉、黑巴、亞弗革與利合的居民；

Asher did not dispossess the inhabitants of Acco or the inhabitants of Sidon and Ahlab and Achzib and Helbah and Aphik and Rehob;

1:32

亞設人因為沒有趕出那地的居民迦南人，就住在他們中間。

But the Asherites dwelt among the Canaanites who inhabited the land, for they did not dispossess them.

1:33

拿弗他利沒有趕出伯示麥的居民和伯亞納的居民，於是拿弗他利人就住在那地的居民迦南人中間；然而伯示麥和伯亞納的居民成了為他們服苦役的人。

Naphtali did not dispossess the inhabitants of Beth-shemesh or the inhabitants of Beth-anath; but they dwelt among the Canaanites who inhabited the land. Yet the inhabitants of Beth-shemesh and Beth-anath became forced labor for them.

1:34

亞摩利人強逼但人住在山地，不容他們下到山谷。

And the Amorites pushed the children of Dan into the hill country, for they would not allow them to come down into the valley.

1:35

亞摩利人執意住在希烈山和亞雅倫並沙賓；然而約瑟家的手重重的加在他們身上，使他們成了服苦役的人。

And the Amorites persisted in dwelling in Har-heres, in Aijalon, and in Shaalbim; but the hand of the house of Joseph prevailed so that they became forced labor.

1:36

亞摩利人的境界，是從亞克拉濱坡，從西拉而上。

And the border of the Amorites was from the ascent of Akrabbim, from Sela and upward.

2:1

耶和華的使者從吉甲上到波金，對以色列人說，我使你們從埃及上來，領你們到我向你們列祖起誓應許之地。我又說，我永不廢棄與你們所立的約；

Then the Angel of Jehovah went up from Gilgal to Bochim. And He said, I caused you to go up out from Egypt, and I brought you into the land that I swore to your fathers. And I said, I will never break My covenant with you,

2:2

你們也不可與這地的居民立約，要拆毀他們的祭壇。你們竟沒有聽從我的話。你們這作的是甚麼事？

And you shall not make a covenant with the inhabitants of this land; you shall tear down their altars. But you did not listen to My voice. What is this that you have done?

2:3

因此我又說，我必不將他們從你們面前趕出；他們必作你們肋下的荊棘；他們的神必作你們的網羅。

Therefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you; but they will be like thorns in your sides, and their gods will be a snare to you.

2:4

耶和華的使者向以色列眾人說這話的時候，百姓就放聲而哭。

And when the Angel of Jehovah had spoken these words to all the children of Israel, the people lifted up their voice and wept.

2:5

於是給那地方起名叫波金。眾人在那裏向耶和華獻祭。

And they called the name of that place Bochim. And they offered to Jehovah there.

2:6

從前約書亞打發百姓去的時候，以色列人各歸自己的地業，佔據那地。

Now when Joshua sent the people away, each of the children of Israel went to his own inheritance to possess the land.

2:7

約書亞在世的日子，以及約書亞死後，那些見過耶和華為以色列人所行大事的長老還在的日子，百姓都事奉耶和華。

And the people served Jehovah throughout all the days of Joshua and throughout all the days of the elders whose days extended after Joshua's and who saw all the great work of Jehovah that He had done for Israel.

2:8

耶和華的僕人嫩的兒子約書亞，正一百一十歲就死了。

And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Jehovah, died at the age of one hundred and ten years.

2:9

以色列人將他葬在他地業的境內，就是在以法蓮山地的亭拿希烈，在迦實山的北邊。

And they buried him in the territory of his inheritance, in Timnath-heres, in the hill country of Ephraim, north of Mount Gaash.

2:10

那一代的人也都歸了自己的列祖；在他們之後，有另一代的人興起，不認識耶和華，也不知道耶和華為以色列人所行的事。

And all that generation as well were gathered to their fathers; and another generation, who did not know Jehovah or the work that He had done for Israel, rose up after them.

2:11

以色列人行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，去事奉諸巴力，

And the children of Israel did what was evil in the sight of Jehovah and served the Baals.

2:12

離棄了領他們出埃及地的耶和華他們列祖的神，去隨從跪拜別神，就是四圍眾民的一些神，惹耶和華發怒；

And they forsook Jehovah, the God of their fathers, who brought them out from the land of Egypt; and they followed after other gods from among the gods of the peoples who surrounded them; and they worshipped them and provoked Jehovah to anger.

2:13

並離棄耶和華，去事奉巴力和亞斯他錄。

And they forsook Jehovah and served Baal and the Ashtaroth.

2:14

耶和華的怒氣向以色列人發作，把他們交在搶奪者手中，這些人就搶奪他們；祂又將他們交付在四圍仇敵的手中，甚至他們在仇敵面前再不能站立得住。

Then the anger of Jehovah burned against Israel, and He delivered them into the hands of plunderers; and they plundered them. And He sold them into the hand of their enemies around them, and they were no longer able to stand before their enemies.

2:15

他們無論往何處去，耶和華的手都以災禍攻擊他們，正如耶和華所說的，又如耶和華向他們所起誓的；他們便極其困苦。

Whenever they went out, the hand of Jehovah was against them for evil, as Jehovah had spoken and as Jehovah had sworn to them; and they were greatly distressed.

2:16

耶和華興起士師，士師就拯救他們脫離搶奪他們之人的手。

And Jehovah raised up judges, and they saved them out of the hands of those who plundered them.

2:17

但他們也不聽從士師，竟隨從別神，行了邪淫，向這些神跪拜，速速的偏離他們列祖所行的道路，不像他們列祖那樣聽從耶和華的命令。

Yet they did not listen to their judges either, but they went about as harlots after other gods and worshipped them. They turned aside quickly from the way in which their fathers walked, the way of obeying the commandments of Jehovah; this they did not do.

2:18

耶和華為他們興起士師，就與那士師同在。那士師在世的一切日子，耶和華拯救他們脫離仇敵的手；他們因受人壓迫欺淩，就哀聲歎氣，耶和華便憐恤他們。

And when Jehovah raised up judges for them, Jehovah was with the judge, and He saved them from the hand of their enemies throughout all the days of the judge; for Jehovah would be moved to pity by their groaning because of those who oppressed them and crushed them.

2:19

及至那士師死後，他們就轉去行惡，比他們列祖更甚，去隨從別神，事奉跪拜這些神，總不斷絕他們的惡行，和頑梗的行徑。

But when the judge died, they turned and acted more corruptly than their fathers by following after other gods in order to serve them and worship them; they did not cease from any of their practices or from their stubborn way.

2:20

於是耶和華的怒氣向以色列人發作；祂說，因這民違背我所吩咐他們列祖遵守的約，不聽從我的話，

And the anger of Jehovah burned against Israel; and He said, Because this nation has transgressed My covenant which I commanded their fathers and they do not listen to My voice,

2:21

所以約書亞死的時候所剩下的各族，我也必不再從他們面前趕出，

I for My part will no longer dispossess from before them any of the nations that Joshua left when he died,

2:22

為要藉著這剩下的各族，試驗以色列人，看他們肯不肯謹守遵行我的道路，像他們列祖謹守遵行一樣。

In order to test Israel through them as to whether or not they will keep the way of Jehovah by walking in it, as their fathers kept it.

2:23

這樣，耶和華留下各族，不將他們速速趕出，也沒有交在約書亞的手中。

So Jehovah left these nations, not dispossessing them quickly, and did not deliver them into the hand of Joshua.

3:1

以下這些族是耶和華留下的，為要藉著他們試驗那未曾曉得迦南任何戰事的以色列人，

And these are the nations that Jehovah left in order that through them He might test Israel (that is, all who had not known all the battles of Canaan),

3:2

好教導以色列人的後代，至少那些未曾曉得戰事的，使他們曉得戰事。

But only so that the generations of the children of Israel might learn to know war, at least those who had not previously known the battles:

3:3

所留下的就是非利士人的五個首領，和一切迦南人，西頓人，並住利巴嫩山，從巴力黑們山直到哈馬口的希未人。

The five lords of the Philistines and all the Canaanites and the Sidonians and the Hivites who dwelt on Mount Lebanon, from Mount Baal-hermon to the entrance of Hamath.

3:4

這些族留下，為要試驗以色列人，好知道他們肯不肯聽從耶和華藉摩西吩咐他們列祖的誡命。

And they were for the testing of Israel, to know whether they would listen to the commandments of Jehovah, which He commanded their fathers through Moses.

3:5

以色列人便住在迦南人、赫人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人中間，

And the children of Israel dwelt among the Canaanites, the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites.

3:6

娶他們的女兒為妻，將自己的女兒嫁給他們的兒子，並事奉他們的神。

And they took their daughters as their wives and gave their own daughters to their sons, and they served their gods.

路加福音 Luke 11:14-32

11:14

耶穌趕出一個啞吧鬼，鬼出去了，啞吧就說出話來，群眾都希奇。

And once He was casting out a demon, and it was dumb. And when the demon had gone out, the dumb man spoke, and the crowds marveled.

11:15

其中卻有人說，祂是靠著鬼王別西卜趕鬼。

But some of them said, By Beelzebul, the ruler of the demons, He casts out the demons.

11:16

又有人試誘耶穌，向祂求個從天上來的神蹟。

And others, tempting Him, sought from Him a sign out of heaven.

11:17

耶穌知道他們的意念，就對他們說，凡一國自相分爭，必至荒涼；一家自相分爭，也必敗落。

But He, knowing their thoughts, said to them, Every kingdom divided against itself becomes desolate, and a house divided against a house falls.

11:18

若撒但自相分爭，他的國怎能站住？因為你們說我是靠著別西卜趕鬼。

And if Satan also is divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? For you say that it is by Beelzebul that I cast out the demons.

11:19

我若是靠著別西卜趕鬼，你們的子弟又是靠誰趕呢？這樣，他們就要審判你們了。

But if I by Beelzebul cast out the demons, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges.

11:20

我若靠著神的指頭趕鬼，這就是神的國臨到你們了。

But if I by the finger of God cast out the demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

11:21

壯者全副武裝，看守自己住宅的時候，他的家業就平安無事。

When the strong man, fully armed, guards his own homestead, his possessions are in peace.

11:22

但有一個比他更壯的來，勝過他，就奪去他所倚靠的全副軍裝，又分了他的擄物。

But when one stronger than he comes upon him and overcomes him, he takes away his whole armor in which he had trusted and distributes his spoil.

11:23

不與我相合的，就是敵我的；不同我收聚的，就是分散的。

He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters.

11:24

污靈從人裏面出來，在無水之地蕩來蕩去，尋找安歇之處，卻尋不著，便說，我要回到我所出來我的屋裏去。

When the unclean spirit goes out from the man, it roams through waterless places, seeking rest, and not finding it, it says, I will return to my house from which I came out.

11:25

到了，就見裏面打掃乾淨，裝飾好了。

And it comes and finds it swept and decorated.

11:26

於是去另帶了七個比自己更惡的靈來，一同進去，住在那裏。那人末後的景況，就比先前更壞了。

Then it goes and takes along other spirits more evil than itself, seven of them, and they enter and settle down there. And the last state of that man becomes worse than the first.

11:27

耶穌正說這些話的時候，群眾中間，有一個女人高聲對祂說，懷你胎的和乳養你的有福了。

And as He said these things, a certain woman out of the crowd lifted up her voice and said to Him, Blessed is the womb that bore You and the breasts at which You nursed.

11:28

耶穌說，那聽神的話而遵行的人，更是有福的。

But He said, Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it.

11:29

當群眾集合一起的時候，耶穌開講說，這世代是個邪惡的世代。它尋求神蹟，除了約拿的神蹟以外，再沒有神蹟給它。

And as the crowds were thronging together, He began to say, This generation is an evil generation; it seeks a sign, and a sign shall not be given to it except the sign of Jonah.

11:30

約拿怎樣成了給尼尼微人的神蹟，人子也要照樣成了給這世代的神蹟。

For even as Jonah became a sign to the Ninevites, so also will the Son of Man be to this generation.

11:31

在審判的時候，南方的女王要同這世代的人起來，並要定這世代人的罪，因為她從地極來，要聽所羅門的智慧話。看哪，在這裏有比所羅門更大的。

The queen of the south will rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation and will condemn them, because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold, something more than Solomon is here.

11:32

在審判的時候，尼尼微人要同這世代站起來，並要定這世代的罪，因為他們聽了約拿所傳揚的，就悔改了。看哪，在這裏有比約拿更大的。

Ninevite men will stand up in the judgment with this generation and will condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and behold, something more than Jonah is here.
